Microslide is a drill bit with an outside detonation coating plus inside Tefl on coating. Its advantage is a service life extended by three to four times, and its versatility.

Hardcrown drill bits are composed of a base body and a brazed TCT crown. The high-quality tungsten carbide crown is ground with diamond tools and achieves a service life ten to fi fteen times the standard! Preferred application: Big drilling installations and large quantities of material.

Trials of the Hardcrown against a standard drill bit were made using telephone directories. The standard drill bit broke after 4000 drillings, the hardcrown drill bit reached a performance of 28,000 drillings before trials had to stop due to the lack of materials. After checking the drill bit after drilling the bit was still sharp!
