I. The King James Bible is the inspired-preserved Word of God. A. The Great God in heaven inspired His Word.B. The Great God in heaven that inspired His Word is also the One Who preserved it.

II. The King James Bible as the

inspired-preserved Word of God must be applied daily by the believers. A. Leaving the inspired-preserved Word of God will make believers sick and helpless. B. Living the inspired-preserved Word of God will make believers strong and healthy.

This do in remembrance of me.”

1 Cor 11:24-25, “…this do in remembrance of me.”

“But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

Ayon sa 1 Cor 11:25 “as oft as ye drink it.”

“Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. (Psalm 12:6)”

“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. (Isaiah 55:10)”

“Handle with care!”

GOD’S WORD CANNOT BE BRO-KEN. The transmission through many centuries of the books of the Bible is a fascinating saga of God's providential care of His words. The Old Testament writings were given first in Hebrew, then meticulously copied and re-copied by many scribes, finally to be edited into their present form by the Masoretes, all before the invention of the printing press. A look at the Bible itself reveals its claims that it will last forever. Isaiah 40:8 teaches, "The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." This same passage was quoted in 1 Peter 1:24-25 to affirm the ever-lasting nature of Scripture. The LORD also emphasized in John 10:35 that "unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken."

GOD’S WORD CANNOT BE BREACHED. There is no changing compromise in its precepts. It is not

dependent on the culture of the times or the demography of the present. It transcends barriers of human hearts. Jesus Himself offers the most defini-tive words on this topic in Matthew 5:18 when He taught, "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." The tittle and jot referred to the small-est marks in the Hebrew alphabet. Jesus noted that the Scriptures would remain completely intact until heaven and earth pass away. In three of the four Gospels, Jesus also taught that heaven and earth would pass away but His words would never pass away: Matthew 24:35, Mark 13:31, and Luke 21:33.

GOD’S WORD CANNOT BE BUR-IED. A look at history reveals some of the amazing ways in which God has fulfilled these words. Despite the attempts of enemies to destroy

the Word of God, far more ancient copies of biblical manuscripts exist than any other ancient document. A further and closer examination of the thousands of ancient manuscripts of the Bible's writings reveals that the text of the Bible has remained amaz-ingly stable. Prior to the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in the twentieth century, the earliest portions of many Old Testament writings dated from about AD 1000. However, the Dead Sea Scrolls included Hebrew copies of Old Testament books from more than 1,000 years earlier that affirmed the accurate nature of the copies we continue to use today. While the origi-nal copies of the Bible's books are not known to exist, many early copies have helped reveal the important work of Scripture preservation that has continued from the past to our day.

The Bible was not preserved to re-main unused. We are called to study it and apply it in our own lives today. The prophet Ezra did it in chapter 7, “For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.” We are exhorted to do likewise with the same fervency in our time as Romans 15:4 teaches, "For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learn-ing, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope."

The Glorious Preservation of God’s Holy Word, the King James Bible “The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever” (Psalm 12:6-7).

In an ever-changing and highly diversified global soci-ety in which we live in, it is almost impossible to find re-ally something perennial, timeless and unchanging. Yet, throughout the ages, the King James Bible has hurdled through times of persecution, political turmoil, and peril. It pressed on, and stood firm, undaunted and un-changing. Some argue that the Bible does not explicitly teach that God’s Word would be accurately preserved; thus saying that the doctrine of preservation is not a biblical teaching. Meanwhile, the Bible's theological teachings regarding the eternality of God's Word al-ready serve as a great evidence to support the doctrine of preservation.
