High school musician earns spot in

All-State Band

Gaige Murillo, Clemens High School2011-12 TMEA All-State Band Member

Gaige has been selected to perform with the Texas All-State Band in San Antonio on Feb. 11 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center as part of the 2012 Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Clinic/Convention.

host Explore UT on Saturday, March 3, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The

annual open house is free, open to all ages, K-12, and there’s no registration

for students & families to participate in the more than 350 learning activities.

“Young Leaders Conference” comes to Northeast LakeviewAttend and you could win a college scholarship!!

When: Saturday, February 25, 2012, 8:00am – 2:00pm Where: Northeast Lakeview College--Performing Arts Center

1201 Kitty Hawk Rd., Universal City, TX

This FREE event for high school juniors and seniors and their parents will provide information about the college process:

admissions, paying for college, careers, time management, and the college experience.

The conference will end with door prizes, including $10,000 in scholarships, the awarding of the high school spirit award (the

school with the highest participation rate), and a performance by San Antonio’s own motivational group, HYPE.
