My First Semester experience, here, in VIT has been amazingly adventurous and full of activity. Academically speaking, I am extremely satisfied with my faculty and their methods of teaching. The various events conducted in college; in cultural, technical, literary or sports; help students to explore themselves in areas of their interest. The “Fresher’s Week” arranged especially for Freshers was a great event that was highly successful. First Semester was as thrilling as any roller coaster ride, with its own twists and turns. I feel very proud to be associated with such a prestigious institute. Proud to be a VITian.

My journey in VIT started on 8 August, 2019 when I was very scared and restless being at totally unknown campus amongst new faces everywhere. Little did I know that all the teachers would be as warm and caring as our parents. I also enjoyed the Fresher’s week wherein I participated and won the ‘Sherlock Bakshi!’ task. Our faculty encourage us to take active part in all such activities, but at the same time they teach us so well at such a comfortable pace that I did not feel the need to join any sort of classes.

My journey in Mumbai started as a
scared, lonely boy with language
barriers, introverted kid. As an
OHU, moving from Sangli to
Mumbai was a huge step for me.
When I joined VIT, it all started
making sense, the culture, the
people, students, teachers all were
too intellectual for me at that
time. I could barely speak Hindi or
English. But slowly, I made some
good friends and you know how
friends are; they’ll stick by you

shortcomings. Throughout this
