LIABILITIES

• The steps in the Brooklyn Bridge Park are

too steep, someone could fall and injure

themselves.

• There aren’t many signs giving

people/tourists an indication where the

waterfront, bridges or walkways are.

• Traffic and sound of the commotion from

the bridges.

• Pollution of the cars.

OUR NEXT STEP …

• There should be more sign from either the subway stop (high street) and up and down the blocks as to where the waterfront is located.

• In the entrance of the park they should be a open area full of plants it will attracted more the tourists indicating that it is the entrance. We could remove the concrete floor and add grass in order to stand out more. – Aura Tejada

• I would personally build a brick/ cement entrance to the park. I think it would have the classic look and feel. Redon Rexha

• One of the biggest problems is around the dock where the ferry is. It is very hot because there aren’t any trees or shade. A way that could be fixed is by planting not only trees, but also flowers. Planting trees is a great idea but adding color to the area would make it better. In addition to adding that, putting tables and chairs off the boardwalk would make the area a nicer place for people to want to sit down, wait for the ferry, eat lunch, etc. -Gabbi

CIRCULATION STRATEGIES

• The most positive aspect is that people bike ride.

• While there are places to park cars (there are a few garages), it is still more economically

friendly and it is a healthier solution than driving a car from point A to point B.

• The next aspect is public transportation, which is better for the environment than driving a car.

• We will continue to research on how climate affect circulation.

• Different path people could take to go to Brooklyn park

• Each member is responsibly to bring a different source/ information that helps with the case

study.

• We meet once a week and we keep in touch by emails and text message.
