To create awareness about wine, various webportals and vineyards areorganising wine tours. Webportal www.thewineclub.comorganises wine tours inNashik, known as the winecapital of India because of itsvineyards. “Our wine tour iscalled the Vineyard
Discovery programme. We take guests to variousvineyards like those of Sula,York, Zampa and even thelesser known Mountain View vineyard, where we tell the guests about wineand the intricate process of winemaking,” says AvijitBarman, the organiser,
“Then at every vineyard, wine tasting sessions arealso organised and you cantaste some of the best winesof Nashik valley for free,” he adds.

The tours usually take guests to variousvineyards located in andaround Nashik. The visitorsmeet wine educators, whowelcome guests by offeringthem a variety of winesmade there and show themthe process as well. And theguests are allowed to go for
long walks in the vineyards. “I’ve been having wine for

hot tipTAKE CARE OF YOURLEATHER FOOTWEAR 1 Store well: Store your leather shoes in cloth
bags, not in plastic. After all, leather is skin andneeds to breathe.
2 Avoid heat: If your leather shoes get wet, let themdry in the air. Don’t expose them to extreme heatfrom a hairdryer or direct sunlight, as this willcause cracks or discolouration.
3 Wipe clean: Dust is a contributing factor toleather disintegrating. Before putting yourshoes away, always clean with a soft cloth.
4 Maintain them: Shoe trees are great formaintaining the shape of your shoes when notworn. Alternatively, you can also used crumpledpaper which helps absorb moisture from shoes, and is helpful in humid climates.
5 The right care: Use a soft bristle brush, cottoncloth, leather lotion, and a good shoe polish.Remember that the character of leatherchanges as it ages, but it can still look beautifulwith the right care.
