T-OPS T-OPS Transportation Options for Veterans and their families. T-OPS is a one stop resource for Veterans and their families to determine the best method of transportation available. This program is intended to provide service for medical appointments to riders who have no other transportation options. Riders with Medicare or riders who are able to pay out of pocket may benefit most from this service. For more details, call 304-296-3869. For your Safety and Security For your safety and the safety of others, some items are restricted or prohibited on Mountain Line buses. • No gasoline or flammable liquids • Pets allowed only in pet crates (all trained service animals are allowed) • No toboggans or sleds • No furniture or mattresses • No large pieces of lumber • No open alcoholic beverages • No car batteries • No weapons of any kind • Weapons recently purchased and in packaging material may be left with the driver, at the driver’s discretion. • Bikes are permitted (in bike racks on front of buses or in wheelchair tie downs on the bus, ask driver for assistance) • Skateboards must be left with the driver upon boarding the bus • Baby strollers, shopping carts and other items must be kept out of the aisles to avoid creating trip hazards or obstructions which might prevent emergency exiting from the bus. • For reasons of safety, other items may be prohibited at the discretion of your driver. Mountain Line is governed by a Board of Directors. This seven member board is appointed by the City of Morgantown and the Monongalia County Commission. The Board typically meets on the second Wednesday of each month. Meetings are held in the Westover Administrative Facility, 420 DuPont Road, and begin at noon. Meetings are open and public comment is welcome. Holiday Service All Mountain Line services, except the Grey Line, are closed on these days: • New Year’s Day • Memorial Day • 4th of July • Labor Day • Thanksgiving • Christmas Day Grey Line operates 365 days year-round. Family rates: For trips from Morgantown to Pittsburgh the 1st ticket is regular price and each additional ticket up to 3 tickets would be $3 each. 4 for $34. All must be purchased on the same credit card online. For blackout dates when these rates aren’t available visit ridegreyline.org. Football Shuttles Mountain Line Transit offers an easy, convenient way to beat the traffic on WVU Football home game days. Park for free at the Mountaineer Mall and take a shuttle to the stadium. Shuttle buses pick up passengers at the lower entrance to Mountaineer Mall. Cost per passenger is $1.50 one- way, $3.00 dollars round-trip. Children 5 and under ride free. Please have correct change ready when boarding the bus. Shuttles start two hours before kickoff, and run every ten minutes. Return shuttles will start at the beginning of the fourth quarter and continue for one hour after the game. All buses are accessible. Senior Monongalians - Ride Free Program Passengers who are 60 or older can sign up at Senior Monongalians in the Mountaineer Mall. Qualifying applicants will receive free ridership on all local trips. Contact SMI at 304-296-9812 for details. Senior Card - Half Fare Program Passengers who are 62 or older can sign up for the Gold Card Program to receive a 50% discount on all cash fare transactions for local trips. Buy Bus Passes On Your Phone Token Transit Mobile App • Single Ride - $1.00 (Expires after 10 minutes)* • 15 Ride - $15.00 (Individual ride pass expires after 10 minutes)* • 30 Day - $40.00 (Expires after 30 days) • Monster Pass - $145 (Expires after 30 days) *Once these tickets/passes are clicked and activated - they are on a set timer to expire after the allotted time. It is important that you only activate a ticket at the time of boarding. Expired tickets will not be reimbursed. A credit or debit card is required to purchase passes. Fares on the Mobile App. include a convenience fee to cover the costs related to the use of the app. Catching the Bus Mountain Line Transit buses stop for you anywhere along the designated route. You can catch the bus at a Mountain Line Transit bus stop, or wait in a safe location along the side of the road in the direction the bus is traveling and wave to the driver as the bus approaches. In order to keep these routes on schedule they are not flag down routes. The bus will only drop off or pick up passengers at the designated stops.
