2.1. External Power Input and Fuse - A Power: 220Vac 50/60HZ(187V∼242V) Fuse: 2A / 0.197" x 0.787"(5 x 20)

External Power Input Frequency is used to determine output(current/voltage) frequency, insert

Input Frequency onto “System Frequency(Hz)” in “System Config Menu”

System Frequency(HZ) Where to set External Power Input Frequency, based on External Power Input, RTS controls

output(current/voltage). When External Power Input is 60, output(current/voltage) frequency is 60 . Selected External Power Input frequency is used to calculate time(Second, Cycle) and current/voltage.

CT Ratio(x:1) Where to set CT Ratio of Relay, it is useful to display converted Output Current.

System Max Current(1-10A) Where to set Max Input Current of Relay, it alarms when Input Current is larger than Max Current and Output Current is stopped when Input Current is continuously coming after Max Current Limit Time.

Max Current Limit Time(1-30s) Where to set Max Current Limit Time, in order to stop output current after Max Current limit time when larger Input Current than Max Current

Sequence Time Limit (10-990s) Where to set Sequence Time Limit, sequence is stopped after sequence time limit, if sequence continuous when OCR/External Mode test

External Debounce Time(5-200ms) Where to set External Debounce Time in order to remove a trembling signal from External Input(IN1, IN2) when Relay test on External Mode

Moment Time Limit(50-1000ms) Where to set Moment Time Limit, it’s the duration of withstand current flowing to the Relay. On “START” after the duration it automatically “STOP”

Trip Time Offset(0-1000ms) It displays the sum of Trip Time Offset value and the Trip Time result from OCR Mode and

External Mode test, on LCD. RTS operation time refers to “4. RTS Operation Time”.

Close Time Offset(0-1000ms) It displays the sum of Close Time Offset value and the Interval Time result from OCR Mode and

External Mode test, on LCD. RTS operation time refers to “4. RTS Operation Time”.

Sequence Counter(1-4) Where to set Sequence Counter number for reclosing Relay or Recloser test. It can be set on OCR Mode/External Mode by pressing [ENTER].

Save System Config Press [ENTER] key to save changed values as below.

2.3. Recloser Control Interface - C

Operation Switch It shows the state of Recloser and it’s the close/open switch.

Control Cable It’s the connector interfacing with Recloser Control.

Current EVRC Recloser control gets RTS burden when current is larger than 7A and current wave gets

distorted. RTS burden ratings refers to "2.4 Output Current”.

Voltage Va, Vb, Vc are always loaded with voltage but VL(Load side) is loaded when (ON) close status

GAS It’s sets for 0bar when EVRC2A Control and Cable connected to each other Recloser Control can be tested in OCR MODE.

Do not use Output Current Terminal when Recloser Control Interface is used

2.4. Output Current - D 2.4.1. LOAD CORRECTION It controls Output Current

2.4.3. SCOPE It displays current as voltage

It displays 10V when Output Current is 10A and it can check Trip Time, Interval Time.

Use Measuring Impedance larger than 10

Burden: 0.25Ω/10A, 1Ω/5A

1) Use below burden current, distorted wave can be occurred 2) Do not use Recoser Control Interface when Output Terminal is used

3) Careful with pole(+, -) due to using the same terminal for current black terminal and voltage COM terminal

2.5. Output Voltage - E Rated Voltage 7.07Vrms/20Vpkpk

Rated Load Current: 200 Continuous / 1A 10second

Voltage A, B, C voltage can be modified individually, with using COMPENSATOR Max Voltage can be set..

※ Va, Vb, Vc are the same phase.

Careful with pole(+, -) due to using the same terminal for current black terminal and voltage COM terminal

2.6. External Terminal - F External Terminal is used in "EXT.CONTROL”, of TEST MODE, it is a mode to test OCR or Reclosing Relay

IN1: Reclosing Signal Input It is controlled by Pulse signal and Pulse signal has to be larger than Debounce Time. When Input Signal comes in, OUT(52-contact) operates as b-contact and Operation Time refers to

“Figure 4-1. External Mode Operation Time”.

IN2: Trip Signal Input It is controlled by Pulse signal and Pulse signal has to be larger than Debounce Time. When Input Signal comes in, OUT(52-contact) operates as a-contact and Operation Time refers to

“Figure 4-1. External Mode Operation Time”.

OUT: Contact Output (52A Contact) It is operated by IN1/IN2 and operation time refers to “Figure 4-1. External Mode Operation Time”. Contact status is displayed on LCD in External MODE

2.7. RS232 - G It’s a port to connect to PC and it also can do real time Data

Logging when a event occurs during test.

2.7.1. To check Test Event Data with connecting to PC 1. CC201(Figure. 2-7-1) cable connects between PC(COM 1/2 Port) and RTS(RS232 Prot) 2. Run Communication Program supporting VT100/ANSI Terminal Mode.

Ex) Hyper Terminal (provide by MS-WINDOWS 95, 98)

Start / Programs / Accessories / Communications / Hyper Terminal Ex) Token 2(Freeware)

3. Set COM Port as follows

Bit per Sec: 19200 bps / Data Bit: 8 bit / Parity Bit: none / Stop Bit: 1 bit 4. Press [H] key for Monitor Help Menu as below

2.8. Output Control - H Where to control current, output current can be selected either for continuous or for withstand.

START Use to Load Current through Output Terminal or Control cable.

MOMENT Use to Load Current only for a set time

MAINTAIN Use to Load Current continuously when START, it will automatically stop when current is

decreased under 2

STOP Use to stop current

2.9.1. CALIBRATION A mode to set Current and Voltage before test.

<CALIBRATION MODE> Va: 7.08[V]

Vb: 7.08[V]

C.T Ratio : 1000:1 Vc: 7.08[V]

Present curr': 0.0[mA] 0.0[A]

C.T Ratio Ratio to insert OCR or Recloser Control, it can be changed in “FUNCTION MENU”. Present

curr' It shows that converted Output Current by CT Ratio. During calibration, current is not loaded

VOLTAGE Indicates Va, Vb, Vc in Voltage terminal or Control Cable.

2.9.2. OCR Recloser Control and Circuit Breaker can be tested in OCR MODE Recloser Control can be tested by using “2.3 Recloser Control Interface” Circuit Breaker can be tested by connecting with “Figure 2-9-3. Circuit Breaker Connection”

SEQ[4] Where to set a number of Sequence Lock-out of RTS for test. After the number of trip, it stops. The number can be selected 1, 2, 3 or 4 and the number can be changed by using [ENTER] key.

PHA[A] Where to select a phase to Load Current when recloser test changed the phase by using [ENTER] key.

I Present Current.

T Total time until sequence ends

Trip T Trip T records Trip Time from sensing current and trip operation till current stops. It displays 4 continuous cycles.

Interval Interval records Interval Time from current stop till sensing current. It records 4 continuous cycles.

Trip I Trip I records Trip Current 4 continuous cycles.

Sequence Time Limit A function to stop sequence automatically after a set time if sequence does not end. The time can

be set in “SYSTEM CONFIG MENU”.

Measured Time is converted and displayed "S" for Second, "C" for Cycle every time pressing [UP] key

2.9.3. EXT. CONTROL A mode to test Over Current Relay or Reclosing Relay with using External Terminal

OUT[52A - C] It shows the status of External OUT Terminal. C for Close status, O for Open status.

Present current It shows present current and converted current by CT Ratio.

Trip time It shows a time from sensing current till trip with second and cycle. (Max. Second: 999)

Trip current It shows a current when trip

Moment time Where to set a time from loading Output Current till it stops

The time can be set by using [ENTER] key within range of 0.050∼1.000sec

3. TIME CALCULATION

Trip Time records a time from sensing current till current disappears (sensing current: over 2). Interval Time records a time from trip till sensing current. Trip Current records a current when trip.

4. RTS OPERATION TIME 4.1. External Mode “Figure 4-1” shows a time to be compensated when Over Current Relay Test or Reclosing Relay Test. IN1/IN2 signal is controlled in External Terminal

4.2. OCR Mode “Figure 4-2” shows a time to be compensate when Recloser Control CLOSE/TRIP signal is controlled in Recloser Control Cable
