Helpful InfoCommunion/Lord’s Supper All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion. If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you are invited to His table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it before passing it along.

Offering In all of our services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an act of worship and voluntary. !Nursery We have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on the north side of the narthex. Please see an usher for directions.

!The Bible is central to our faith, but many people

are intimidated by its scope and size. The Story gives us a way to journey together from Genesis to Revelation in 31 weeks so everyone understands God’s story and how their story intersects with it. !

The Bible is the best-selling book in history, but how many people are actually reading it? A Gallup

survey reports the average American household has four Bibles. However, research by Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life (2008) found that only 16 percent of Americans read the Bible every day. !Our hope is to reverse this trend! Consisting of 31 chapters of carefully-selected scriptures sequenced in chronological order, The Story presents the word of

God in an engaging format, reading like a novel. !Beginning April 27th, Chaparral will embark on this incredible journey involving our children, teens and adults every Sunday morning and throughout the week. We will offer The Story in four age-related books (The Story, The Story for Kids, The Story for Children and The Story for Little Ones) so everyone can literally be on the same page for 31 weeks. Our special guest speaker for that kick-off Sunday will be Dr. LeRoy Lawson. !This is the time to invite your family and friends who are wondering about God or want to know more about the Bible. The Story will give people a beginning like none other!

Join a small group and find YOUR Story!
