6 Take-back informationNokia Siemens Networks customers can contract with Nokia SiemensNetworks for environmentally responsible end-of-life treatment of

obsolete equipment. The purpose is to recover the material and energycontent of the obsolete products and to ensure safe treatment ofsubstances that can cause harm to people or the environment, ifdisposed of untreated. In a life-cycle perspective, EoL treatment cancompensate for some of the environmental impacts of the earlier stagesof the products life cycle.

Nokia Siemens Networks Equipment Take Back Solution provides NokiaSiemens Networks customers with an end-to-end service that includesthe removal of end-of-life products from the customers' network andensures end-of-life treatment in an environmentally responsible way.The Nokia Siemens Networks Equipment Take Back Solution is offered

in several modules representing end-to-end work flow of the process: Removal

    Collection

    Recycling

    Project Management

In Nokia Siemens Networks or Other Vendor HW Replacement, that is,SWAP cases Take Back Solution brings in Collection and RecyclingService as Removal and Project Management are already included. Thepricing is scalable according to the modules.

If customer chooses not to procure Nokia Siemens Networks EquipmentTake Back Solution from Nokia Siemens Networks, customer agrees todispose of any such equipment in a sound environmental manner, incompliance with all applicable laws.
