The Early Childhood/Early Childhood SpecialEducation A.A.S. Degree prepares you foremployment in an Early Childhood setting. Youwill obtain the educational background and practicalexperience necessary to provide young children (birthto age eight) of varying abilities with developmentallyappropriate learning experiences.

You will also explore universal promotion, secondaryprevention, and tertiary intervention approaches to

educate and care for children with challenging behaviors. Physical space, appropriate routines, andmyriad transition and teaching strategies will bepracticed. In addition, you will develop severalcommunication strategies that will foster aninclusive, relationship-based approach tointeracting effectively with diverse families.
