Each control box contains the system power supply, a plug-in microprocessor controllermodule, and replaceable output relay modules
Highly visible operating status indicators on control box door; diagnostic indicators locatedon the controller module identify trouble causes
All models offer selectable one-beam floating blanking which allows objects to move throughthe defined area without tripping or latching the final switching devices
Some models (see chart below) have exact blanking which allows the presence of fixedobjects such as brackets or fixtures in the defined area during operation of the guardedmachine

Model MGS.. lens kits are replaceable protective covers for the lenses of MACHINE-GUARD andPERIMETER-GUARD sensors. The shields are constructed of clear LEXAN polycarbonate, and aresupplied with corrosion-protected steel retaining clips. Shields may be installed or removed withoutdisturbing sensor alignment. MACHINE-GUARD and PERIMETER-GUARD sensors may also use MINI-SCREEN lens shield kits. See page 133 for model numbers.Note: When shields are installed on both the emitter and receiver, excess gain is reduced by 36 percent

The Banner MM-TA-12B Muting Module is an accessory component of a safeguardingsystem. The Module allows the machine to mute the primary safeguard by monitoringredundant inputs (two or four) and automatically suspend the safeguarding function of asafeguarding device during the non-hazardous portion of the machine cycle.
