“The Good Shepherd”

“The Lamb of God”

“1 The Lord is my shepherd,and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

I shall not want.6 Surely goodness and loving-kindness will follow me

all the days of my life,

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.

Thou hast anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.

3 He restores my soul; He guides me in the pathsof righteousness For His name’s sake. 5 Thou dost prepare a table before me in thepresence of my enemies;

4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.

I fear no evil; for Thou art with me;

Let me experience rest andlife in You as You take away my fear.Help me look past my trouble to seeYour blessings set before me and may Ialways remember that Your loyal lovewill never tire in its pursuit of me.”

“Lord, grant me an opportunity toshepherd others as you have me. May Icreate an appetite in others for yourKingdom. May I show others that youare a place of rest for their souls wherethey can feel secure. Let me enableothers to look past their troubles andsee your blessings. May I cause them tonever forget that your loyal love forthem is constant.”
