SMSC Handles SMS and real-time charging o SMS. Prior to granting an SMS submission (or

reception) the Nobill SMS Charger requests permission rom Nobill Charging. Real-time

charging is applicable to roaming- and home network users.

MMSC Handles MMS trafc together with real-time charging o MMS. Prior to granting an MMS

submission (or reception) the Nobill MMS Charger requests permission rom Nobill

Charging. Real-time charging is applicable to roaming- and home network users.

SCP Handles call control and real-time charging o voice/data/ax/video calls. All trafc is

monitored in real time with reusal o service i e.g. insufcient unds.

GGSN (incl.Packet Charger)

Handles real-time charging o packet trafc. Prior to granting data trafc the Packet Charger

requests permission rom Nobill Charging. Real-time charging is applicable to roaming- and

home network users.

WAP Gateway Handles all WAP trafc.

Number PortabilityDB

Number portability gives the service provider the means to use number portability

inormation (network operator ID) or rating and trafc routing.

Voice Mail Flexible and integrated solution or recording and storage o voice messages. Includes

eatures such as multi-language support, auto provisioning and sel management (via USSD,

etc), complete message convergence, e.g. MMS and e-mail voice message delivery.

IVR Handles various subscriber interactions, like top up management and customer sel care

with interactive voice responses.

USSD Handles various subscriber interactions, like top up management and customer sel

care with interactive text message. The USSD Gateway also acts as a USSD Menu Server,

interacting with external applications.

Event Charger Handles event charging requests rom external applications such as content providers and

value-added service platorms.

Charging Receives charging requests and ensures these are rated, reserved and committed.

Rating Responsible or rating all trafc types or all subscription types.

Subscriber services Contains customer, account and subscription data. Great exibility in creating customer

structures/packages, loyalty bonuses, etc. Includes tools to administrate customer-related

logistics (in batch or individually) or phone numbers and SIM cards.

Vouchers Voucher Management handles creation and management o vouchers, virtual calling cardsand PIN codes. Full voucher liecycle logistics are supported.

B2B and B2Caccumulations

Responsible or handling billing, i.e. generation o invoicing fles. Contains CDR data that is

kept online or a set period and then archived/exported to other systems.

Outbound andinbound provisioning

Outbound provisioning is handled towards external systems such as HLR. Inbound

provisioning is handled via CAI (Customer Administration Interace).
