094 system profile installation example
- fit the tapered edge of plasterboard (A) to the edge of the pro-file, in order to avoid a rough surface when filled.
- fit the frame by connecting the ends (B) to the profiles (C) by means of the connectors (A). to fix the parts together, tighten the screws (D).
- with articles F6.094.42.U (internal corner joint) and F6.094.44.U (external corner joint) it is possible to create both internal (B) and external (C) corners
- fasten the frame to the ceiling by using self-tapping screws, en-suring the screws are always contained within the enclosed chan-nel (X). if plasterboard whose thickness is less than 18mm-0,70” (usa) is used, adequately increase its thickness, so that the outer tip (E) of the frame is on the same plasterboard surface.- when erecting the metal framework for the suspended ceiling, fit an upright 60mm (2,36”) from the end of the profile frame 094.- fill the surface (F) of the profile. ensure all the grooces are filled- apply the gauze (G) in the area between the plasterboard and aluminium.- mud again to obtain a smooth surface (Q) - smooth and paint again
