• Recommend to the producers of uranium ore concentrate that although the regulations allow the contamination level to be 4 Bq/cm2 for transport that they should endeavor to work to 0.4 Bq/cm2 as the sea container needs to be released at 0.4 Bq/cm2 at the converter site.
• Recommend the use of a shipment notice by the producer of uranium ore concentrate to inform the converter of an intended shipment.
• Provide a description of the drum unloading and sea container release activities at the converter facility as information to the producers
