Airline Business
Transport is an essential element of tourism, providing the vital link between the tourist generating areas and destinations.
Thus developments in aviation will have major implications for many leisure and Tourism markets in the future.
43
Airline Business
‘In the past, the growth of Tourism has been fuelled by increasing prosperity,
longer holidays and cheap fuel.
The future of all 3 elements is now questionable, (Oil)

style over the Centuries in the Hospitality
Industry are...

"...food (people have to eat!)
"...lodging (people want a safe place to sleep!)
"...beverage (people like their beverages!)
47
Information Technology

(Events: sporting, concerts, cultural, etc…)

Technology as a back office support for accounting & bookkeeping is
clearly going to moved to the front of house & center stage.
