What is a LEK?What is a LEK?
• Sectoral concept of the Nature Conservancy Administration on regional level (it is legally not binding)
• A tool, coordinated among all Nature Protection Authorities (comprehensive concept of nature protection and landscape management)
• The information is translocal, scale 1:100.000 (translocal relevant statements)
• Ecologically orientated input of other planning sectors are integrated(all ecologically relevant statements are included)
• It is a significant contribution for a sustainable development of a region (gives the ecological basis)
