Metal shell upgrade:
① The shell is made of Aluminum. Much lighter, and better heat dissipation performance than plastic shell.
② The shell was shaped by entire Aluminum board.
③ The Aluminum shell covered by blue plastic film, to improve insulation performance.
Notice: Do not tear off the blue plastic film.

Safety valve upgrade:
① The new safety valve is designed completely sealed. No air or liquid can pass through.
② This valve has two films. The lower film is Aluminum. It will be break to release the internal pressure. The upper file is plastic, it could block the dust and liquid to protect the Aluminum film.
Notice: Do not break the film. If the Aluminum film was broken, it can not be restored, this battery was invalidation.

Terminals upgrade:
① The positive terminal is made of Aluminum, the negative terminal is made of Copper.
② We plate Tin on the surface of copper to protect the negative terminal from oxidize.
③ The ring around the screw thread is used for automatic packing bus bar.
④ We put a steel threaded sleeve inside the terminals to improve the strength.

Maintenance:
① The temperature should be 20 – 25 for storage. This is much better for ℃the cell.
② New cell is deliver with 30%SOC, please check the voltage per month to avoid over discharge.
③ Please cycle the cells every half year once.

Emergency measurement: over charge
metal shell battery equipped with explosion-proof safety valve, when battery overcharge, internal pressure will open the safety valve, produced a lot of smoke, at this time, should take measures as follow:
① immediately shut off the power supply system and the charger.
② Put on gas mask or wet towel to prevent breathing smoke.
③ Evacuate all the people from the danger area to airy place.
④ Cooling the ESS with dry ice fire extinguisher or Alkaline metal fire extinguisher.
⑤ Contact customer service

Short-time over discharge will cause a little capacity lost. Recover measures should be taken as follows:
① charge the cells to 3V, using 0.1C current.② then increase the current to 0.3C.③ stop charge until 3.65V.④ repeated 3 cycles.
Long-time over discharge may cause internal short, as shown on the right. Using the repair measures above to check the cells, if the voltage can not get back to 3V, this battery will not be restore by charging.
