1 ‘OURENSE TERMAL’ ATHLETICS MEETING 2016
The 'Ourense Termal' Athletics Meeting 2016 is a meeting included in the national
competition calendar of the Spanish Athletics Federation, which is held in the city of
Ourense on Sunday 29th of May 2016, in the athletics track that belongs to the
Ourense Campus of the University of Vigo.
Organised and sponsored by the Ourense Province Council, the Ourense Campus
Vice Rectory of the University of Vigo, the Ourense Town Hall Sport Council, the Sport
Provincial Service of the Xunta de Galicia with the collaboration of Club Deportivo
Aurum and the local office of the Galician Athletics Federation.
2 PARTICIPANTS
Athletes with federative FGA (Galician Athletics Federation) or RFEA (Royal Spanish
Athletics Federation) licence valid for the 2015/2016 season.
Foreign athletes with a federative valid licence and with the permission to compete in
Spain granted by the corresponding National Federation.
3 ENTRIES
3.1 Entries for Athletes with FGA or RFEA licence Athletes with FGA or RFEA licence will register via the RFEA Intranet
https://isis.rfea.es/sirfea2/ from Monday the 2nd of May 2016 until Tuesday the 24th
of May 2016 at 8pm.
Athletes must provide their personal best for the event they will be participating in
so as to facilitate the series organisation and preparation.
3.2 Entries for foreign athletes Foreign athletes will register via e-mail by sending an e-mail to
[email protected] with the following information: name and surname, date of
birth, licence number, ID card, club, event in which he/she participates and best
time in that event. The entries from foreign athletes must be in the organiser's
possession before Tuesday the 24th of May 2016 at 8pm.

4 ADMISSIONS LIST
A list with the entirety of the admitted athletes will be published on Wednesday the
25th of May 2016 in the following websites: www.fgatletismo.es/ourense and
www.ourensemeeting.es.
5 NUMBER COLLECTION AND PARTICIPATION CONFIRMATION
The registered and admitted athletes in the 'Ourense Termal' Athletics Meeting 2016
will confirm their participation and will personally collect their number at the
Competition Secretariat up to 1 hour before the beginning of the event they are
participating in.

7 COMPETITION TIMETABLE
The competition timetable will be published on Wednesday the 25th of May 2016
along with the list of admitted athletes.
8 CALL ROOM
All the participants must be accredited at the Call Room with their federative licence
or by means of an official document with photo.

9 PRIZES
9.1 Best Record Prize Prizes will be granted to the 8 best men records and to the 8 best women records
for this meeting, based on the valid IAAF chart and obtaining a minimum of 800
points.

Relays and promotion events from under-age categories will not be included.

In the event of any tie, the organisation will decide the result in an equitable way.
Prizes above €300 are subject to IRPF (Spanish Personal Income Tax).
9.2 Prize for Best Galician Record There will be a €100 prize for the athletes that set a new senior Galician Record.
In the case of relays, the prize will be granted to the club or team they represent.
This prize is cumulative.
9.3 Prize for Under-Age Athletes The first three athletes in each under-age category will receive a present given by
the organiser.
9.4 Awarding Protocol In order to receive the prizes, athletes must be present during the award ceremony
at the end of the meeting. The non-attendance or unpunctuality to this ceremony
will result in forfeiture of the award..
10 LANGUAGE
The current regulations will be translated into Spanish, English and Portuguese. In the
event of conflict, the Galician version will prevail.
11 APPLICABLE STANDARD
For all the provisions not included in these regulations, RFEA and/or IAAF standards
will be applied.
