As one of the main organisers (co-chairman of the Organising Committee, member of the International Steering Committee) I am responsible for the publications related to the conference, the scientific programme, the international liaison and the School for Young Scientists. The conference is supported by the European Society for Mathematical and Theoretical Biology, the Society for Mathematical Biology and other organisations. Launching International Journal BIOMATH. Jointly with a group of researchers active in the field we established this journal (print and online) with the aim of facilitating the dissemination of new ideas and research results in this highly interdisciplinary field.
