THE PROBLEMEach year, more African Americans die from diseases caused by smoking than, murder, AIDS, drug and alcohol abuse and car crashes combined!

OBJECTIVES1) Identified and/or developed culturally specific faith-based programs, curriculum and resources that meet the needs of the identified population.

2) Identified and developed a coalition of faith-based leaders.

3) Trained members to conduct cessation and prevention classes in their congregations.
