• In 1951 Toronto was one-eighth the size of the present-day municipality, and most of today's suburban regions were still rural.

• In 1951, the majority of people who lived in Toronto were still ethnically British (73 per cent), religiously Protestant (72 per cent), and Canadian-born (69 per cent).

• In 2001, more than half of Toronto's residents were born outside of Canada; and a million people identified themselves as belonging to visible minorities.

Instructor’s CommentsInstructor’s CommentsGrade: 10.00 / 10.00

Excellent presenation. Good notes in the notes pane. Eye catching title slide with a great picture. I like the way your animation focuses attention on the picture. Your background colour is perfect for your presentation.

Good consistency throughout. Good use of the required elements. Beautiful pictures. I really like the way you've done your map with all the neighborhoods labeled.

There are a few slides where you could cut down on the wordiness just a bit, mainly by deleting articles or repetition of the subject of the slide. You've done this on most of the slides but there are a few that could be reduced a bit to make them feel less intimidating to the casual viewer.

Excellent job. You really show how impressive Toronto can be.
