◆ Only one software's game datacan be saved on an amiibo at atime. In order to create new gamedata on an amiibo t hat hasexisting data from another game,you must first delete the existinggame data. To delete your gamedata, open on the HOMEMenu and then reset the dataunder amiibo Settings.

4 Online Features

This software allows you to connectto the Internet to share pictures ofyour created rooms via Miiverse™and social media (page 16) andaccept special requests (page 13).

• To protect your privacy, do notgive out personal information, suchas last name, phone number, birthdate, age, school, e-mail, or homeaddress when communicating withothers.

8 Starting the Game

After launching the game, thetitle screen will be displayed.

● Once you've chosen aname for your character,you won' t be able tochange it. So pick a goodone!

● Your name may be seenby other players, so don'tchoose an inappropriatename or one that couldmake o the r peopleuncomfortable. Let's beprofessional here!

❷ You can then movethe selected groupas if it were a singlepiece of furniture.

Duplicate Furniture

14 Visiting Houses and Facilities

Select a destination from yourclient list to visit residents'houses or facilities.♦ When you leave a house or

facility, you'l l return to thetown.

Change Clothes

Touch residents (oryour own character)with your stylus anddrag them to tochange what they're wearing.

Remodel/Rebuild

As you progress through thegame, residents will start makingrequests to remodel or rebuild

their houses when you visit.

If you want to change thepho to displayed on yourclient list, just take a photowhile visiting a cl ient andthen touch . Say cheese!

Use the in-game amiibo phone(page 13) to call up an animaland of fer your home-designservices or update your clientinformation for that animal.

Making a Call

You canacceptrequestsfrom theanimalfeatured onthe amiibo card.

Updating Client Information

You can write data for the houseof the animal that appears on theamiibo card. You can also addfurniture obtained from theamiibo card to your catalog.♦ After writing house data to an

amiibo card, you can use itwith other games that arecompat ib le with AnimalCrossing amiibo cards.

Houses andFacilities

Touch and scan an amiibocard while visiting a house orfacility to call the animal to joinyou there (page 14).

♦ Furniture from facil itiescannot be added to anamiibo card.

If another player you knowhas a furniture item that isn'tin your catalog, that playercan help you get the item.Nice teamwork!

On your own system:❶ Use the amiibo phone, and

update client info.❷ Scan the amiibo card of

the animal who has savedthe furn iture item youwant.

On the other player's system:❶ Go to a location with the

furniture item you want,and then touch andcall the animal from theamiibo card to visit.

❷ Read the same amiibo cardagain, and the resident'sfurniture will be stored onthe amiibo card.
