Inserting tables into a Word document
2• Open up a Microsoft Word document and select under insert Table.

When you have a set of oblong shapes like this, click on the lines to stretch them out into square shapes.

Block in the squares using the Shading bucket (under Design) to fill in different colours. Following (under Home) place a different letter in some of the squares to make a decorated image
Now create another set of squares and change the line thickness to 6pt Then use the pen to a different colour. Click onthe arrow next to Borders and select the top, bottom or side.
