Public Programme “Stability in Crisis – Tools to Overcome Challenges” One of the main event of Sr Jayanti’s visit was the public programme with the topic “Stability in Crisis – Tools to Overcome Challenges” on Tuesday, 23rd June. The programme which was held at the beautiful HGH Convention Centre in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur, had the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Y.B. VIP Dinner -cum -Talk “Awaken Your Inner Wisdom”

An exclusive dinner-cum-talk programme was organised for a select group of guests comprising ambassadors/high commissioners, distinguished corporate individuals, Ministry Officials, political representatives, NGO representatives and select Media friends, at Wisma WIM (Women’s Institute of Management) in Kuala Lumpur on 24th June. Nearly 60 distinguished and well-established individuals attended the special event. Despite this being the month of Ramadhan six Muslims attended, including the MC, Datin Fauziah Ramly.

In her talk, Sr Jayanti gave the audience a beautiful experience of the power of thoughts and the mind to overcome the challenges in our lives. The audience experienced deep peace and silence and there was pin-drop silence in the huge hall when Sr. Jayanti gave the meditation commentary.

Many individuals had tears in their eyes after Sister Jayanti’s insightful talk; guest singer, popular entertainer, Datuk D.J. Dave, being so moved from the previous day’s event pledged publicly his quest to attend the meditation classes and to learn more from the BKs. All guests departed happily, each receiving a copy of Sister Jayanti’s book together with blessings and toli. In conclusion, one could feel the light and happiness emanating from each one after the completion of a very successful evening programme.

Around 80 students and 10 teachers of GIIS attended a session on “ How to increase the power of concentration” by Sr. Jayanti on 22nd June. The children were very enthusiastic and asked may questions. They all wanted to learn meditation immediately so as to master their own thoughts and inculcate good habits.

On 25th June, Sr Jayanti was again at GIIS, but this time was a Hindi Programme entitled “7 Keys to Enlightenment for parents of the school and other Indian expatriates in KL. Out of the 40 who attended, a few have already registered to take the 7-day course.

Program with Ministry of Youth & Sports Malaysia A program with the Ministry of Youth and Sports

was held at the International Youth Centre (IYC), Kuala Lumpur. This is a special venue where BKM had about 14 Asian region retreats before. So, it was a place filled with powerful vibrations and blessed by the Dadi’s and seniors through the years. This time we were in a small hall with about 60 Youth Leaders and Educators of Youths. The topic was “World in Transition – New Thinking creates New Realities”. A lively exchange took place after the talk where several participants asked very practical questions on issues relating to youths and young generation of today. IYC also recorded Sr Jayanti’s message for their corporate video.

Meeting with YAB Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad

A very warm and friendly discussion took place between Sr Jayanti and Malaysia’s former Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad for more than half hour. Tun Dr. Mahathir enquired about Brahma Kumaris’ activities and Sr. Jayanti also shared news about Dadi Janki. It was a beautiful meeting - like ‘old friends’ meeting after a long time.

Program with Ministry of Women, Family

& Community DevelopmentSr. Jayanti gave an impactful talk on “The Role of Women in Changing Times” at the Crystal Room of the Ministry of Urban Wellbeing, Local Government & Housing in Putrajaya. About 30 officers from the Ministry, particularly from the Department of Women Development took benefit from Sis Jayanti’s talk. The Deputy Director General of the Ministry was with us throughout the programme, and again there were very interesting questions after the talk, and a good rapport with all the women. A couple of men from the Ministry also attended.

Program with Department of National Unity & Integration,

Prime Minister’s Department, 25th June

About 300 Community Leaders, Heads of Interfaith and Religious organisations, NGOs and Officers from the Dept. of National Unity & Integration jam-packed the Ballroom of Prescott Hotel, Kajang to listen to Sr. Jayanti’s talk on “Values to Strengthen Inner Harmony & Unity”. Participants were very enthusiastic and lively and posted many questions to Sr. Jayanti.

The Director General who joined later expressed appreciation to Brahma Kumaris Malaysia for offering to his Dept. such an international speaker. He also expressed their keen interest to collaborate with BKM for future programs/projects.
