Background
4
Issues to Consider
Individual student connection between exit and follow-up process?
Individual student id number and access to other data collections?
Does state tie post school outcomes into monitoring?
Where is state in the process of uniting reporting and accountability between Indicators 1, 2, 13, and 14?
5
Oregon combines census and stratified sampling
State submits summary data each year that represents the ethnic, gender, disability and exiting method of all exited students in the state.
To gather these results, some groups of students – like drop-outs will be ‘over sampled’ to insure adequate numbers.
Districts with less than 15 exited students interview all
Districts with more than 15 exited students interview 15 per school or transition program
