opportunity has come from His good hand. We have much to be thankful

we will find Him just as faithful as He has shown Himself in the past. It is

Church Building including personages:
As we mentioned in this report that house churches ordered to be closed in Bahawalpur so there is our
great need of Church Building for the permanent Reformed presence in the region of Golden sand. Most
of our congregations living in rural areas where no place of Worship is available to them. The Church
Council of the Sutlej Reformed Church of Pakistan has sanctioned a Property Committee to search for
that perfect location to build that house unto God. This will not be an easy task since the new
permanent location must meet the needs of the present and the needs of the future.
In order to better focus our search for that permanent location, we as a community must look inwards
and ask: "What can we afford?" This is a difficult task compounded by the myriad properties and
locations available as well as the ever escalating cost of land. Although we have managed to save some
funds, the time has come to turn to the members of our community for support.
Our ideal plan is to accomplish the property acquisition and building without any loans from financial
institutions.

Mission Work & Outreach:
Reformed Bible School:
To equip men and women for Gospel ministry with teaching ministry, counseling and leadership skills,
RBS offers Diploma in Theological studies (2 years training course). New students are accepted in fall
(September) and spring (January) semesters only. Reformed Bible School is accredited by Pakistan
Accreditation Association of Theological Education. This year 2016, we couldn’t enroll anyone because
of the lack of material and funds. But Sutlej Reformed Church of Pakistan hopes that RBS will continue in
2017 because if equipping will be stop, Mission work will be stop.
Annual Christian Convention:
As we mentioned in the yearly review that more than 400 (four hundred) people have been blessed by
this great event this year 2016. Christian convention is the very best way to reaching people at large at
one place where you can preach and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Hopefully,
2nd Christian Convention will be conduct in 2017 and we will reach more than 1000 (1 thousand) people
that they may know God of Holy Bible and His Son Christ Jesus.
Weekly Household Visitations and Outreach:
Sutlej Reformed Church of Pakistan always tried to support the people who are engaged in Church
ministry with us. We feel responsibility for their little bit or some of financial help. We need a vehicle
(Suzuki Bolan) and motorcycles, a conveyance for travelling to the weekly household visitations and
Outreach Ministry in far off areas.

A Brief Introduction of Sutlej Reformed Church of Pakistan:
Sutlej Reformed Church of Pakistan is an active, energetic, missional and passionate community of
Christian believers in the land of golden sand, southern Punjab Pakistan. An area which is covered by an
arid desert. First Reformed Church planted in 2011 in Bahawalpur district by Rev. Arslan Ul-Haq with
only few households. We are rooted in biblical faith, a faith that has been handed down to us from the
apostles of Scripture, and rediscovered afresh during the Protestant Reformation of the 1500's.
We are the first and only Reformed community in this southern part of Punjab. We’re striving to become
the kind of church described in the Holy Bible, where there’s relevant teaching, heart-felt worship,
honest friendships, constant prayer, compassionate care for those in need, and many opportunities to
serve others. We are strongly committed to reaching people with the message of God’s love and grace,
growing them to maturity in Christ likeness, and sending them by the power of the Holy Spirit to join
Christ in his work of reconciliation and transformation. We gather together on Lord's Day, set our hearts
upon God, listen to His Word, fed at His table and praise Him through singing Psalms and Hymns in our
native languages. For more information visit our website; www.mysutlejonline.com
A Brief Introduction of Rev. Arslan Ul-Haq:
Arslan Ul-Haq is the founding and lead pastor of Gospel-centered, Sutlej
Reformed Church of Pakistan. Born and raised in Bahawalpur City. His father was
a Methodist minister but his love to the protestant reformers, brought him to
embrace reformed Theology. He is graduated from Northwestern Theological
Seminary. Prior to pastoral ministry, Arslan traveled extensively in full-time
itinerant ministry which included speaking at churches, Seminars, Theological
Workshops and conferences all over the Pakistan. Arslan is passionate about
discipling people, developing leaders, teaching and sharing the Gospel of Jesus
Christ with the local and global church. His unique and passionate style from the
pulpit combines inspiration and challenge, laughter and tears as people are
engaged at their core. His hope for Sutlej Reformed Church of Pakistan is to cultivate a community of
disciples that is unleashed to live out the Gospel by Growing in a life of worship, Gathering in community
and Giving their lives away on mission.
