S3: AAR Recon Lab
Issue: Visual AidDiscussion: Lab participants felt that visual aids would have helped in their planning process of the mission.Recommendation: Bring a map or Google image of the training area for each lane to use in their planning process. Issue: OpordsDiscussion: MSII’s want a more detailed opord to be briefed to them so that they can practice flipping a STX opord.Recommendation: The OIC for lab will create a detailed opord for each lane instead of having the lane walkers make them up. Issue: Distance of LanesDiscussion: Lab Participants felt as if the lanes were too short and were to close together.Recommendation: Use full extent of training area provided to spread out lanes

Lab 3 April: PLT Raid AAR
• Sustains Time management by the PL during the planning phase New location for the AA and OBJ Actions on the OBJ was done quickly and accurately
• Improves Situational awareness
Assault line was set up too close to support line, resulted in fratricide Awareness of the route to and from the assault position / release point
PCI equipment prior to lab Some radios were not working
Security in the AA Full 360 security is not always necessary, strong point security could
allow for more effective rehearsals
