History

• In January 2009, BHI signed a contract with Techsia• Techsia will provide TechLog – to be used for Geoscience

processing and interpretation• Imaging Release – January 2010• Release 2010.2.1 – June 2011• Release 2011.1.2 – October 2011• WFM will continue to be supported during the transition

Techlog Software Installation

• Standard Techlog software Releases and updates are available through WellLink Data Services:

• Software - Download Software Releases - Product: PASP Development - Techlog 20nn.a.x + BHI Add-Ons)

• Unzip the download and run: [Install_Drive]:\BHI_TL20nn.a.x_INSTALLER\setup.exe

• Select the required options

Message box displays history messages from the system. Indicates operations, status, associated errormessages, warnings, etc.

Drop Down MenuDisplays palette currently in use. Clicking down arrow displays available palettes.

Cut-off AreaDisplays mean cut-off value between boundaries. Move up and down to reduce gradient dispersion, left and right to adjust palette center. This is activated by click and drag of red bar.

BoundariesSet limit of palette display. Modified by typing value in text area or with boundaries widget

Consists of two parts – dataset and zone.Zones can be created by:-Data editor-Graphically in LogView-Graphical zone editor-Zone editor

Zone colors are customizable and patterns for each zone can be defined.By default, zone names sorted by depth, but option exists to change zone sort option.

Share workspace where data is displayed, computed, etc to optimize display of viewers and reduce the number of open windows. They can be created automatically or manually (shown).From this window, swap workplaces, put an object in foreground, rename any object or close a workspace.
