RECAP

Disciples Make Disciples

Page 5: 1 Timothy 6:2-10

This church is not about you.

Page 6: 1 Timothy 6:2-10

As long as Hillside is about our comfort, we will gain

very little for the Kingdom of God until we die off.

Page 7: 1 Timothy 6:2-10

This statement is really about contentment.

Teach and urge these things.

Page 10: 1 Timothy 6:2-10

If you are believing a false gospel, you

understand nothing.

Page 11: 1 Timothy 6:2-10

You are only as intelligent as your grasp of grace.

Page 12: 1 Timothy 6:2-10

You are taking advantage of, whether intentionally or

inadvertently, people who are deprived of truth.

Godliness & Contentment

Page 14: 1 Timothy 6:2-10

Be content solely in Jesus.

Page 15: 1 Timothy 6:2-10

If I have THAT, my life will have meaning. I’ll have value and feel

significant and secure.

Page 16: 1 Timothy 6:2-10

THAT is what you worship.

Page 17: 1 Timothy 6:2-10

The things you daydream about in your spare time

are ultimately the things you worship.

Page 18: 1 Timothy 6:2-10

If everything you own was taken away, what would be

your attitude towards Christ?

4 TYPES OF PEOPLE (regarding wealth)

Page 24: 1 Timothy 6:2-10

Pursuing anything more than Jesus is an act of idolatry.

Page 25: 1 Timothy 6:2-10

The love of money is the root of all kinds of evils.

Page 26: 1 Timothy 6:2-10

Including the very crucifixion of Christ.

Godly men are content solely in Jesus.
