and Panchayati Raj for ensuring political

social welfare and economic schemes and promoting
community based monitoring of programs.

2. Center for Vocational & Community Education
A Community College
Objectives
It will be established by non-profit making, non-commercial and community based organisation.
An extensive Need Analysis of the employment opportunities available in the local area and also the social needs of the Community.
The Target group is 12th passed students, school drop out, rural youth, rural women.
Existing workforce that wants to update its skills.
Need based education at an affordable price.

A Community College
Objectives
To build the capacities and community based skills.
To develop the courses to enhance their skills.
To develop trainers from their own community on livelihood based on agriculture and forestry.
• Following 02 Courses has been proposed by North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and sanctioned by Human Resource Development Ministry, Government of India, and Government of Maharashtra
• i) Diploma in Animation and Web Designing
• ii) Diploma in Agriculture and Natural Resource Management Skills
• The HRD & UGC has sanctioned Diploma in Agriculture and Natural Resource Management Skills course which has been started from 11 January, 2014 at Eklavya Training Center, Nandurbar.
• ( Presently adjusted at Eklavya Training Center, Nandurbar till the establishment of Tribal Academy )

To make a tribal understand Constitution and also Land and Forest Laws related to tribal
Understanding of Tribal Laws
Understanding of Tribal development Schemes, Budget Allocation
Understanding the issues of International Indigenous Laws and Conventions
Understanding of issues of Traditional Governance and Customary Rights.
