Washington County Crash Data OverviewUrban Crashes

78% of the CSAH/CR severe crashes occurred in urban areas.

Non-Ped/Bike Related Crashes 89% of CSAH/CR urban severe crashes are non-ped/bike crashes

o 53% of these crashes were intersection related 29% occurring at a signalized intersection 33% occurring at a thru-STOP intersection

o 35% of these crashes were non-intersection related (majority are road departure)

Rural Crashes

22% of the CSAH/CR severe crashes occurred in rural areas. 62% of CSAH/CR severe rural crashes are intersection related
