2Introduction

• On the 21st June, the 124th Wimbledon kicks off on the green grass courts on centre court.

• Wimbledon 2009 saw Roger Federer collect his sixth Wimbledon and a record 15th Grand Slam title after a thrilling men's final. In the ladies' event, Serena Williams defeated her sister Venus for the third time in a Wimbledon final. Both champions have their eyes set on reclaiming the prestigious grass court crowns in 2010.
