Message Meaning Remedy

2091 Fail: Head Temp

The Print Head temperature rose too high while printing.

Cancel printing and wait until the temperature drops. Remedy for error code 2091: 1. To identify the Head at which the error occurred, select “Solid Print” from the Advanced Menu to load and print banding check data. 2. Determine whether the defect lies at the Head side or Carriage PCB side. Disconnect the FFC for the Head at which the 2091 error at “1.” occurred from the Carriage PCB and try printing again. A. If a 2091 does not occur, the Print Head or Print Head FFC is defective. B. If a 2091 does occur, the Carriage PCB or Carriage Signal FFC is defective.
