A can do a piece of work in 20 days. He workedfor 2 days. Then B complted remaining work in
9 days. How much time will be taken by B in
completing the entire work alone? As one days work = 1/20
2 days work = 2/20 =1/10
Remaining work = 9/10 Bs one days work = 9/10 *1/9 =1/10
Thus B will be able to complete thework in 10 days.
