Ms. Huey Evans, president of Tribeca Global Management (Europe) Ltd, willreceive the 100 Women in Hedge Funds’ European Industry Leadership award.She is a risk management expert who worked for many years in senior positionsat Bankers Trust and chaired the International Swaps and Dealers Associationfrom 1994 to 1998 before heading the markets division at the UK's FinancialServices Authority for seven years. More recently, she has helped build outTribeca into a premier multi-strategy hedge fund platform within Citigroup. InFebruary 2006 Ms. Huey Evans was appointed to the European Commission’sExpert Group on Alternative Investment Funds. In 2004, Ms. Huey Evans wasappointed chairman of the Joint Forum, a group of experts working under theumbrella of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS), theInternational Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and theInternational Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS). She holds a BA fromBucknell University in Economics.

Mr. Hintze, who is founder and Chief Executive Officer of CQS, will receive the100 Women in Hedge Funds' European Effecting Change award for hisphilanthropic activity. Hintze established CQS in 1999 and the firm, one of thelargest hedge funds in Europe, now manages over US$6 billion. Over the lastseveral years, the Hintze Family Charitable Foundation has made awards toeducational and health programmes and the arts, including The Prince's Trust,The Prince's Foundation, Trinity Hospice, The Evelina Children's Trust, theVictoria and Albert Museum's Sculpture Galleries, the Vatican Museums'Pauline Chapel and the University of Sydney.

Philip Hook is a Senior Director in the Impressionist and Modern ArtDepartment at Sotheby’s. He originally joined Christie’s picture department in1973 with a degree in the History of Art from Cambridge University. From1980-87 he was head of Christie’s 19th Century Picture Department. In 1987he left to co-found The St. James’ Art Group in London, dealing in European19th and 20th century pictures. In 1994 Mr Hook joined the Impressionist andModern Art Department at Sotheby’s. He has appeared regularly on the BBCTV programme Antiques Roadshow as a picture expert and is the author ofPopular 19th Century Paintings (1986) and five successful novels set in the artworld: Optical Illusions (1993), The Stonebreakers (1994), The Island of the Dead(1995), The Soldier in the Wheatfield (1998) and An Innocent Eye (2000).

The property offered in this sale and listed in this catalogue will be sold by the 100 Women in Hedge Funds, Limited(“100WHF”), registered with the Companies House under number #06057707. Any questions in relation to the auctionshould be directed to 100WHF and not to Sotheby's, which serves merely as auctioneer for 100WHF in conducting the saleand participates on the following terms and conditions which govern the sale of all the property offered (as amended by anyposted notices or oral announcements during the auction):
1. (a) Neither Sotheby's nor 100WHF assumes any risk, liability or responsibility for the authenticity or the authorship ofany property identified in this catalogue (that is, the identity of the creator or the period, culture, source or origin, as the case may be, with which the creation of any property is identified herein).
(b) All property is sold with all faults and imperfections and errors of description and neither Sotheby's nor 100WHF makes any representations or warranties of any kind or nature, expressed or implied, with respect to the property and in no event shall either of them be responsible for the correctness of any descriptions of property, nor be deemed to have made, any representations or warranties of physical condition, size, quality, rarity, importance, genuineness, attribution, authenticity or provenance of the property. No statement in the auction catalogue or other description made at the sale, in any sale invoice or elsewhere, shall be deemed such a representation or warranty.
(c) Prospective bidders should inspect the property before bidding to determine its condition, size and whether or not it has been repaired or restored.

2. Any property may be withdrawn by Sotheby's or 100WHF at any time before the actual sale.
3. Unless otherwise announced by the auctioneer at the time of sale, all bids are per lot as numbered in the catalogue.
4. Sotheby's and 100WHF reserve the right to reject a bid from any bidder. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders, the auctioneer shall have sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the lot in dispute. If any dispute arises after the sale, the sale records of the 100WHF shall be conclusive in all respects.
5. If the auctioneer determines that any opening bid is not commensurate with the value of the property, he may reject the same and withdraw the property from sale, and if, having acknowledged an opening bid, he decides that any advance thereafter is insufficient, he may reject the advance.
6. On the fall of the auctioneer's hammer, the highest bid¬der shall be deemed to have purchased the offered lot subject toall of the conditions set forth herein and thereupon (a) assumes the risk and responsibility thereof, (b) will sign aconfirmation of purchase thereof and (c) will pay the full purchase price or such part as 100WHF may require. 100WHFwill not release a lot to a successful buyer until payment of the total amount due has been made.
If the foregoing conditions and other applicable conditions are not complied with, in addition to other remedies available to100WHF by law including, without limitation, the right to hold the purchaser liable for the bid price, 100WHF, at its option,may either (a) cancel the sale, retaining as liquidated damages all payments made by the purchaser or (b) resell the propertyon three days notice to the purchaser and for the account and risk of the purchaser, either publicly or privately, and in suchevent the purchaser shall be liable for payment of any shortfall between the original sale price and the price achieved uponresale, all other charges due hereunder and any incidental damages.
7. Payments for purchases must be made in Sterling and in the following forms; cash, cheque (backed by cheque guarantee card) and all major credit cards.
8. In the case of commission bids or bids transmitted by telephone, Sotheby's and 100WHF are not responsible for errors or omissions arising out of or resulting from mechanical difficulties or failure.
9. In no circumstances will Sotheby's or 100WHF rescind any purchase made or refund the amount paid in respect of any lot.
10. Neither shipping nor delivery costs are included in the price at which a lot is knocked down by the auctioneer to the buyer.
11. These Conditions of Sale, as well as the purchaser’s, 100WHF and Sotheby’s respective rights and obligations hereunder, shall be governed by and construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. By bidding at an auction, whether present in person or by agent, commission bid, telephone or other means, the purchaser shall be deemed to have consented to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts of England and Wales.
