LLEGARÁN LOS DÍAS S e p a r a c i ó n , aislamiento y hostilidad son cosas terribles. Estamos, por d e s g r a c i a , d e m a s i a d o f a mi l i a r i z a d o s

con todos ellos en nuestra vida actual, si nos fijamos en los acontecimientos mundiales o los que ocurren en nuestros propios vecindarios y familias. Las tres lecturas de hoy se refieren a estas mismas y tristes condiciones humanas. El profeta Jeremías describe las condiciones del mundo, como si la gente de su tiempo fuera la oveja que se había dispersado por falta de guía y pastores corruptos. Sin embargo “viene un tiempo”, nos asegura (Jeremías 23:5), cuando surgirá un nuevo pastor, un rey justo. Nos encontramos con ese rey en la segunda lectura y el Evangelio. Pablo nos recuerda en la Carta a los Efesios que todas las divisiones actuales pueden cesar en Cristo Jesús que nos ha reunido mediante su sangre. En el Evangelio de Marcos vemos a Jesús mismo, mirando con lástima quienes lo buscaban como si fueran ovejas sin pastor.

SANTIAGO APOSTOL

Desde el Concilio Vaticano II la Iglesia, como Pueblo de Dios, ha tomado la imagen de una peregrinación para definir su presencia en este mundo. Para los hispanos la peregrinación más antigua es la de Santiago de Compostela en España cuya fiesta celebramos esta sema-na. Según la tradición, Santiago Apóstol evangelizó España y después de su muerte su cadáver fue llevado a Galicia por acontecimientos milagrosos. En el siglo VII señales de estrellas llevaron al descubrimiento del lugar de su entierro y se construyó un santuario con el nombre de Campo de Estrellas. Eventualmente, a finales del primer milenio cristiano, empezaron las famosas peregrinaciones a Santiago. Después de muchos siglos la mejor manera de llegar a Santiago todavía es a pie. Recorrer el camino de Santiago es caminar sobre las huellas de innumerables peregrinos que durante más de mil años han ido trazando el sendero. Peregrinar es caminar despacio por la vida de fe, aguantando lo que el camino ofrezca con la certeza final de gozar la contemplación de Dios.

Tan luego los vendan, por favor regresen los talones de los boletos junto con el dinero a la oficina o pueden poner todo junto en un sobre y depositarlo en la canasta de la colecta cuando vienen a misa.

CLASES DE CATECISMO En este año estaremos ofreciendo c l a s e s d e c a t e c i s m o para niños de (5) años . Esta clase será muy divertida y los niños aprenderán varias cosas. Los invitamos a que inscriban a sus niños en las clases de catecismo lo más pronto posible!

Pueden dar parte de la inscripción y hacer abonos si lo necesitan hacer de esa manera. Ningún niño debe quedarse sin asistir a las clases de catecismo por razones económicas estamos para ayudarlos a todos.
