Tile Roofing Institute (TRI) requires flashing at underlayment level AND top tile level.

Things To Consider Before Installing On A Tile Roof

•  Select the best attachment method •  Rafters, plywood, blocks between rafters

•  Inspect the sub-roof •  Identify the material: plywood, OSB, skip sheeting, felt

paper, butyl •  Check its condition

•  Complete wind calculations and consult local (AHJ) regulations

•  Take your time. Mounting and waterproofing on tile takes longer than comp roofs.
