serer for the 0S13// product.
The methods for performing the initial system installation of an 0S13// system
are described in -( "(/.(. 0S13// *nitial System *nstallation". 0s described in
that document, 0S13// systems follow one of three basic layouts of softwarecomponents to serer hardware, some of which allow for system scaling through
the installation of additional serers hosting additional 56 application
components.
The 7ob aid, - "(/.3.( 0S13// *nitial System *nstallation", is an 4xcelworkbook data gathering tool which supports the system initial installation
process, and contains tabs for each of the 0S13// system layouts. 4ach layout tabdescribes serer2leel data for the basic layout and, where applicable, for scalingbeyond that layout. 8oth this document and -( reference terms and data found on
those layout tabs for serer platform installation.
This document makes no distinction between a serer installation conducted
during an initial system installation and a serer installation conducted during afuture system expansion. *t is assumed that the system layout tab from - which
is most appropriate for the installation context 'initial installation or future
expansion) is updated and proides the context for all data references made bythis document.
