Increased Communication Effi ciencyMobileRouter increases the effi ciency of communications for Army vehicles and units, thus easing mission execu-tion with fewer communication assets at any level of command.

It secures and protects data commu-nications preventing interception and leading to more accurate and relia-ble information. It also speeds up the transfer of information providing more operational effi ciency.

networks and a wide range of com-munication assets can be connected (HF/VHF/UHF military radios, satellites, secured cellular networks).

Easy to InstallFortion® MobileRouter can be installed in tents, vehicles, shelters or build-ings allowing the Fortion® ISR and Lead family of information dominance applications to function in constrained networks with low data rate radios. Fortion® MobileRouter can also be pro-vided as a ‘software only’ version, host-ed by the customers own hardware.

Part of the Fortion® Lead Solution FamilyFortion® MobileRouter is interoperable with Fortion® SoldierC2 and Fortion® TacticalC2.

Tetrapol network)• Saudi Arabia (integration in

Tetra networks)• UK MoD (DSTL CSIIS research

programme)

Operational Key Benefi ts• Decrease the burden on Signal

staff (self managed application) for the network set-up

• Reduce the communication assets cost (optimisation of the use of existing)

• Secure and safe communications (crypto add-on)

• Speed up the communications (routing optimisation)

Technical Key Benefi ts• Radio aware routing: radio link

status awareness• Smart routing: automatic meshing

and path calculation even in very challenging topology contexts

• A variety of encryption solutions including the Airbus Defence and Space Ectocryp® suite

• Alerts on the links’ status so requesting applications can adapt the service to the available bandwidth

• Store and forward facility enabling catch up from limited network disruptions

suitable communication bearer, mutual authentication between MobileRout-ers, automatic building of the overall network, routing algorithms adapted to low bandwidth and mesh bearers, en-crypted communication links and IP Quality of Service.

Through Fortion® MobileRouter, users can access standard communication service interfaces (messaging using SMTP, chat using XMPP, voice over IP, video smart compression).

Covering Various Customers Radio Network Confi gurations Fortion® MobileRouter enables opera-tion in missions with low bandwidth, in-termittent or disrupted communication
