Staying at a Bed & Breakfast may be a new and won‐derful experience. Here are a few points to considerhelping make your stay as pleasant as possible.
• If you have special dietary requirements, informyour host when you book.
• Ask about cancellation and refund policies whenyou book.
• Let your hosts know when you plan to arrive andcall if the time changes.
• If you haven’t made a reservation, phone first beforedropping by.
• Before you first come into the B&B, knock or ringthe bell. It is a private residence.
• Confirm check‐in and out times or any specialarrangements that may need to be made for yourarrival or departure.
• Respect the hosts’ private areas of the B&B.
• When sharing a bathroom, be mindful that othersare waiting.
• Keep showers short to conserve hot water.
• Keep personal articles and towels in your room ifthere is a shared bathroom.
• Inquire ahead of time if special services such as babysitting, laundry or fridge space will be available or ifyour host can help.
• Show up for breakfast at the agreed upon time.
• Introduce yourself to the other guests if the host isbusy.
