Zahir- ud -din MohammadBabur Zahir- ud -din Muhammad Babur (14February 1483 26 December 1530)was a conqueror from Central Asiawho, following a series ofsetbacks,and finally succeeded inlaying the basis for the Mughaldynasty in the greater IndianSubcontinent and became the firstMughal emperor. 3. Zahir- ud -din MohammadBabur Babur was the eldestson of Omar SheikhMirza and QutlughNigar Khanum , butmost importantly hewas a direct descendantof Timur through hisfather, and adescendant also ofGenghis Khan throughhis mother; hence, he Omar Sheikh Mirza fatheridentified his lineage as of BaburTimurid and Chaghatay-Turkic . 4. In1501, he laid siege on Samarkandonce more, but was soon afterdefeated by his most formidable rival,Muhammad Shaybani khan from theUzbeks. Samarkand, his lifelongobsession, was lost again. 6. Zahir- ud -din MohammadBabur Escaping with a small band of followersfrom Fergana, for three years Baburconcentrated on building up a strongarmy, recruiting widely amongst theTajiks of Badakhshan in particular. In1504, he was able to cross the snowyHindu Kush mountains and captureKabul from the Arghunids, who wereforced to retreat to Kandahar. With thismove, he gained a wealthy new kingdomand re-established his fortunes andassumed the title of Padshah.f Farghana. 7. He wassucceeded by his eldest son,Humayun. Though he wished to beburied in his favorite garden in Kabul,a city he had always loved, he wasfirst buried in a mausoleum in thecapital city of Agra. His remains werelater moved to Bagh-e Babur inKabul, Afghanistan. . 10. Death of Zahir - ud - din 11. Like other Muslim king henever force any people of otherreligion to change into Muslim . Andensure equal right for people ofevery religion . 13. As aconqueror he always used tostructure all the plan of war himselfand it was always suspension foreveryone what he is going to do nextin the war . And he was very muchsuccessful in it .
