The Grade B listed property underwent a significant refurbishment which enhanced the quality of internal space and common parts, whilst being sympathetic to the traditional style of the building. The design philosophy was to achieve a high quality, boutique hotel look and feel to the entrance and stairwell whilst creating high quality office space for prospective tenants. Our interior designer worked closely with the landlord to create a new identity for the building which has allowed it to stand out from the crowd but still retain its traditional character. The building facilities were also reviewed on a functional level and provision made at each floor to allow more ‘desirable’ and ‘easily lettable’ suites. The end result is an attractive, modern, sympathetic fit-out which offers prospective tenants a more desirable, boutique office space in the heart of Edinburgh.
