Every day, around 21,000 Hilti employees deal with more than 200,000 customer enquiries. IT applications are provided from Hilti’s central data hubs at the company’s headquarters in Schaan (Principality of Liechtenstein). Optimal access to these applications is provided by a network linking Hilti’s locations worldwide. When this WAN (Wide Area Network) was due for renewal, it was decided that Hilti’s entire centrally managed communications centre – the Telekom Austria Group Global MPLS Service, managed LAN (Local Area Network) and managed telecommunications system – would be upgraded at the same time.
Telekom Austria Group’s Fully Managed global MPLS Network provides cost-effective communications for Hilti’s sites across Europe and South Africa.
