If it is your first Sunday meeting with us we would like to especially welcome you. We hope that you will enjoy meeting with God and His people this morning. Crèche and kids work provisions are held in the Gold Class Bar in the cinema foyer. All our workers hold CRB checks. Free tea and coffee is in the foyer after the meeting where we would love to get to know you more and help you make new friends and connections. The Welcome Desk is available for all information about the life of the church including the events listed in this Update. Free parking is available in the Lowry Outlet Mall car park by getting your ticket validated at the cinema desk.

Alton Towers Trip! Friday 6th August As a Church we will be going to this fabulous,

family-friendly theme park. The trip is open to

anyone; families, singles, friends and neighbours.

This Week

At the last Life in the Spirit meeting,

God spoke to us that “it is not by might

nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says

the LORD Almighty” (Zech. 4:6) and

that all the promises God has made are

“yes” and “amen” in Christ (2 Cor.

1:20). We declared that whatever had

held us back in the past – be it insecuri-

ties, sin or addictions, whatever they

were – we were free from them!

The Holy Spirit is filling us up daily to

release more of what He has already

birthed in us. We have been exhorted

that it is all about Him and not about us

because even our dreams and desires

have been given to us by God. We

should not strive by relying on our

strength alone. Our part is to submit to

God in love so that His Spirit can flow

through us to accomplish His plans and

purpose. “Anyone who trusts in Him

will never be put to shame” (Romans

10:11).

We are already seeing testimonies of

God’s release in seeing people saved

and added to the Church! In my life es-

pecially, I am experiencing newness in

walking with God and letting Him work

out His amazing plan in my life. I am

seeing a transformation in worship, in

my finances and relationships with my

Church-family. Knowing God’s love is

enabling me to reach out in love to the

lost and His people. I am excited about

what is to come for everyone of us as a

body. We will have many more testi-

monies, we will be unrecognizable!
