Welcome Vernon’s Wine Lovers, “Wine offers a greater range for enjoyment & appreciation than possibly any other purely sensory thing which may be purchased.” --- Ernest Hemingway We are so happy to have you join us this evening. Whether you are dining at Vernon’s for a very special occasion, or you are one of our many local and national repeat customers, we welcome you to our award winning restaurant. We take great pride in designing our wine list. We treat it as a living and breathing menu that will enhance and complement your total dining experience each and every time you visit Vernon’s. On the following pages you will find a list of hand selected wines from around the world. In addition to our core wine list, you will find our Sommelier’s List, a rotating selection of both limited release and unusual wines. As you read through our wine selections you will notice that we lean strongly towards the red wine varietals from around the world. This is to compliment our menu selections of the finest prime wet and “house” dry aged cuts of beef. We also offer outstanding selections of white wine varietals that will interest all palates. Don’t forget that champagne and sparkling wine are just as much food wines as any of our still wine selections. If you are joining us as a large group you will find a selection of large format bottles. We also encourage you to take advantage of our available half bottles as a convenient way to pair a wine with each course. Please keep in mind that unfinished bottles can be re- corked and taken home. We are happy to provide any assistance you require in making a selection. Vintages and availability may vary from time to time. Cheers! Nathan Wilson Craig Murphy Michael Baird Sommelier Executive Chef Owner
