Sorrow fills our hearts this sad moment, a sorrow that is deep and personal. He has silently closed the door of life and departed from us. Our lives will be empty in the areas that he had brightened for us. Sahardi will be remembered for his dedication and hard work in mentoring the youth at Fordimail Student Hostel and in surrounding communities in bringing out their best and was always willing to share his ideas and informat- ion. Many of us found him to be a passionate, humourous and caring per- son who had a vision for a better future for young Aboriginal people. Sahardi will be missed greatly and our sorrow is lessened only slightly with the comforting thought that we had the privilege to know him.
