8/20/2019 13 July 2015 Letter to Senate Committee on Energy
1/22
Re: Oil Refining - Considering future eventualities versus the myopia of the present (letter #17)
Dear Members of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources,
On June 29, I sent you my fifteenth letter which included a multiple-choice survey for yourconvenience in responding to me, as you have not responded to any of my previous letters.
Knowing you have a privilege of waiving postage with your signature, I included a stampedself-addressed envelope to encourage your immediate response to my questions. Yourfailure to respond cannot be blamed on not having sufficient time to consider your positionon the matter, and surely your staff have communicated the essence of my concerns to you.
But just on the off-chance that you are completely oblivious of my efforts to communicatewith you, here is a photograph of the letter and enclosures to help you determine the reasonfor not being aware of my concerns.
If you would like me to mail or emailyou the complete chronology of myletters again, I will gladly do so.
My desire is for you and America’sbest and brightest policy makers tocome up with contingency plans.
Enclosed is a third copy of thesurvey, which I believe you, yourstaff and I will find helpful when weeventually meet face to face.
