Tank spargers.In-tank sparging applications can be for batch orcontinuous operation, w ith or w ithout agitation w ithin thevessel. M ott sparging technology provides perform ance-proven designs to assure optim um process operation.

M ott spargers are arranged in the bottom s of tanks andvessels in a variety of w ays. For sm aller tanks, one spargerw ill often suffice. For larger tanks, several M ott spargersm ay be m anifolded together using a linear or radialpattern to achieve optim al gas diffusion.

M ott offers a w ide variety of standard tank sparger ele-m ents and m anifolded assem blies to accom m odate m ost

applications. Custom designs are also available by request.

Non-intrusive (in-line) sparging.M ott G asSavers are unique, high-efficiency gas/liquidcontacting devices for in-line m ounting in process sys-tem s. As liquid m oves through the inside of a porousm etal tube, gas is introduced into the annulus the

area betw een the porous tube w all and the outerG asSaver housing. The gas m oves through the porousm etal into the liquid, creating bubbles w hich are quicklysheared. This action results in very fine bubbles, ideal forgas introduction as w ell as absorption.
